I’m in a liberal college where people will make fun of you if you are conservative. For example, I pray before I eat & before taking my exams, and I say yes sir & yes mam to not only people older than me, but people my age. Professors make you participate in class discussions & will ask you what your hobbies are. I’m like the only one who never says drinking or partying is my hobby, & others find this amusing. I’m very quiet, but also very respectful. I make good grades & I never bother anyone. I don’t want to transfer to another college because that would be running away from my problems. I can’t stand up to everybody because I’m outnumbered of course. The only place where people are nice to you on campus is at the school gym. The guys in the weight room are really cool, & will teach you their work out routines. There’s really not any good organizations on campus, but my college is the best school in my state, so I can’t complain too much. Other than quit whining & grow up, how can I block out the bullies? I got bullied in school and it is hard . I think what worked for me is talking to someone regulary and keep telling yourself you are who you are and you like who you are and nobody else’s opinion matters. drinking and partying doesn’t make you cool. And it’s not for everyone , so if they laugh at you then there sad people. it can be hard but just just keep getting good grades and soon enough you will leave school and move on , make new friends and get a brilliant job !! keep strong and best of luck
Just accept that you are who you are. It shouldnt really matter what they think of you, as long as youre okay with it. There really isnt a foolproof solution for not letting their actions get to you except effort. It seems like you have some pals at the gym, use that as a base, and try to branch out and get some friends. friends are good to have… anyway, good luck, okay?
stick by your way of life and be proud cause when their all broke with no homes cause of drugs and bad grades their all gonna ask for jobs from you or you can just beat them up
