Can A Microsoft Office 2010 Powerpoint Show Up On 2007?

Currently I’m working on the powerpoint at home and school, so would the Microsoft Office program not be compatible and reject viewing my 2010 powerpoint?

Interview. Did I Do Okay?

I interviewed at a small local magazine for an unpaid internship.
I’m a senior in college. I felt overqualified for the internship. My education is in design, and the internship is a marketing
internship. I’ve had 2 previous marketing internships that worked in public relations and promotions.
I asked if they hired on interns after internships and my interviewer said no.
But they are on a hiring freeze, but they need to hire another design associate. Graduation is not very far away and I think I have what it takes to do the job well. I like what I do and have an excellent education from a very well known prestigious school.
I showed her my portfolio of work from my previous internships and she really liked my concept development. It’s always nice to include corporate marketing retail design work in your portfolio even though the design gets diminished into nothing by the time it hits pre-press, but chya know.
I always feel like I didn’t get the job because I feel too qualified. Would that put off an interviewer? Like…”Oh I don’t like her because her credentials are better than mine and she might want my job type of thing.”
She asked me to send her 5 reasons why I want an internship there. Not because she doesn’t think I want it, but just to get a feel for my writing style. I enjoy writing and the sample was pretty good.
Essentially (in a nutshell) the 5 reasons were…
1. Experience.
2. Education. (it will help me obtain credit for my degree.)
3. Networking. (it’s always nice to make new contacts with people in the industry.)
4. Opportunity to work with and learn from such a talented staff.
5. Experiencing the internal workings of the magazine and applying my knowledge and creativity to the work I do.

How Do You Ignore The Bullies In The World Today?

I’m in a liberal college where people will make fun of you if you are conservative. For example, I pray before I eat & before taking my exams, and I say yes sir & yes mam to not only people older than me, but people my age. Professors make you participate in class discussions & will ask you what your hobbies are. I’m like the only one who never says drinking or partying is my hobby, & others find this amusing. I’m very quiet, but also very respectful. I make good grades & I never bother anyone. I don’t want to transfer to another college because that would be running away from my problems. I can’t stand up to everybody because I’m outnumbered of course. The only place where people are nice to you on campus is at the school gym. The guys in the weight room are really cool, & will teach you their work out routines. There’s really not any good organizations on campus, but my college is the best school in my state, so I can’t complain too much. Other than quit whining & grow up, how can I block out the bullies? Why Is It The Only Studies That Show Home-schooled Students Out-performing Public School Students Come From?

years ago when the majority of home-schooled students were children from families where the parents worked in academia, but there are no definitive figures relating to current times when home-schooling has become part of the Tea Party anti-government movement?
Can anyone cite a properly blinded study published within the last 5 years which definitively shows home-schoolers out-performing public school students?
Are Conservatives afraid that if they publish current information they’ll lose all credibility?
B Question: What are the chances that some Conservative will go on a tangent about the use of the term “blinded” because they don’t know enough about the scientific method to even understand that term?

Is College Right For Me?

First off let me say that i will not be basing what I actually do based on the people opinions I get on here, I am simply seeing what other people think.
I am really struggling. I do not know whether or not I want to go to college. I enjoy learning, but so far I have completely HATED school ( granted, I have home schooled all my life.). I really want out of all of it, but at the same time I know that I need to go to school to have a good lifer later on. At least, that is what everybody tells me. My mom is a online college professor, so of course she is going to push me. I have been thinking about taking a year or so off after college, maybe take the occasional class. and just focus on getting a job. You know, just taking a break.
Any advice you can give will probably not help, but at least it might quell my trepidation.
As a side note, can someone maybe suggest a major to look into? I have not found anything that i enjoy so far… The only thing I could think of would be something in technology…

i dont not refuse treatment. i am very cooperative, but they decided to loi to me and put me through a lot like like when i go somewhere you can hear a voice saying crazy stuff like she’s comming and when i walk into the class everyones looking at me crazy thinkin ive lost my mind. i dont hear voices people what they do is do is act on the symptoms before they happen like i told you what happen in the class room before. this is a realistic situation parents do do crazy stuff to make sure i dont get real sick. im 18 years old im taken 2mg of respridol. im tired of them because i feel i have the resources to ensure that im okay. there are medicines and therapy. i cant be walikin around with people thinkin im crazy because of the crazy stuff their doin. im in a shity situation. im 18 i want to live a normal life. how long will they keep this going. their not God contoling me and my souroundings. the other day my step mom said she was trying to convince that their was acure for schizophrenia! what do you think about that. they already put me through hell and back im sick of this bullshit. i cant so a gosh damn thing without this muthafucker tryiing to prevent my illness from getting worser. they put me through some crazy treatment + i found this product called true hope empower plus and my step mom shot me down becasue it cost so much when she is sending her 20 year old daughter to a 40,0000 dollar school called TCU. that f up. and i am so furious with my family.

In order enroll in a provincial health care plan or enroll children into school you must provide proof Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, student visa, or work permit. You must also provide proof you are living within the province and/or school district — typically your driver’s license, provincial ID card, or student ID card .
You need the same thing for getting a driver’s license, provincial ID, opening a bank account, etc. also. All these are forwarded to Canada Revenue Agency and/or Citizenship and Immigration Canada which will verify the social insurance number, visa, or work permit.
Foreign students and workers (including Americans) are fine enrolling in either of these if they have a student visa or work permit. Those visiting may not. They would need to arrange for private travel insurance and, for schooling, would have to find a private school or tutor and are limited to programs under three months without a student visa.
Health care is not free. You are required to pay (token) fees to remain in the plan based on your income. The fee varies from a few hundred to a few thousand per year and each province checks with Canada Revenue Agency to verify income. For a student it’s next to free. Most universities have on-campus offices which will enroll you into a plan. For a worker, it will depend upon your income and of course you are paying taxes in Canada to cover most of the rest. CIC normally doesn’t issue work visas except for rather skilled jobs. For a student, you are playing around $25,000 a year for international student fees.
In order to get a student visa or work permit you have to complete a medical exam, background check, and show proof of finances — plus an acceptance letter from a Canadian university or (usually) a job offer from a Canadian company. If your medical shows any serious health concerns… you will be either be denied the visa or required to show proof of private insurance.

Yesterday,I came out and confessed my love to one of my really close
guy friend in school on FB.Before I did it I told him that he might hate me and diss me
after finding this out(were both males) he replied ,”Bro,I could never hate you,I respect
you so much,you’re a friend of mine “,after that I kept him hanging for 3 hours thinking
if this was really it,and I have to tell him to finally move on,then he messaged me “Bro,
Im patiently waiting,whenever you’re ready”, after a few minutes He told me had to go
because he needed to go to bed because we had school tomorrow.After he logged off,
I messaged him how I really felt,that I liked him,and I respect him and I won’t try anything
that will make him uncomfortable and I apologized that I never chose this and this just
happened.I don’t think he saw it yet,because he rarely goes online on weekdays,he trains
for Taekwondo after school for 3-4 hours.
But earlier this morning,I’ve been avoiding him,I feel awkward after unleashing all these
dark feelings I have.But during lunch,I was walking in the halls with my other friends,I SAW
HIM HOLDING HANDS WITH A GIRL.This crushed my heart to millions of bite sized pieces.I
have a natural ability of hiding any sadness or negative emotions I have inside,so none of my
friends even noticed I was already crying from within.But Im confused too,I browsed my
friend’s profile,not even a single “I love you” or “I miss you” was written on his wall from
this girl.I scrolled down to his profile history and not even a single wall post was posted
by this girl except when she greeted him Happy birthday which was last October.I browsed
his pictures and not even one picture of him with her hugging,kissing or just cuddling
was found which I found weird because most couples I know post fb pics of them either
just merely together,cuddling,kissing etc. I looked at his relationship status and it was
“Single”.
Are they actually dating or they are just really intimate friends that it is
no longer awkward for them to hold hands even though they’re not together.
Did I quickly judge what I saw ?I want to know so that I could move on already.
I felt my friend led me on because he also flirts with me prior to me confessing.
P.S I know you guys really don’t know the deal cuz you don’t know him,so Im just
asking for OPINIONS or advices.Thanks guys <3
