My mom likes to throw everything out that she thinks is garbage but I feel attached to things like my old school bag and I didn’t want to throw it out . I started crying quite literally . Also do I have a problem ?

That’s called hoarding..
Mother-in-Law? No! Husband? No! Other things? Yes!
Seriously, I hear what you are saying…..you have a sentimental attachment to some of your belongings, while your mom sees them as clutter. Try talking to her about the situation and explain that you wish to hold onto some of your possessions, because they are special to you for the memories they bring to you, that they are a memento.
If you can find a place in your room to keep the school bag that isn’t in the way, ask her if you can keep it. Perhaps she thinks you have so much stuff that it is just TOO much….try talking to her when you are calm, and try to stay calm. Getting upset, losing your temper or arguing with her will get you nowhere….but you might get through to her if you can appeal to her sense of fairness and if you can find a good place to store the bag, she might let you keep it!
Good luck.
well it depends if its really sentimental but you really shouldnt let this continue because you could develop obsesive compulsive disorder (OCD) and end up on the show Hoarders and thats not somethin you wanna do!
if i havent touched it in 4 months…must not be important>trash
sometimes i stare at it for a couple minutes b4 i throw it away
Yes, you do have a problem. Your mother should donate old things or recycle them.
why should i feel bad when i throw garbage out ? are you garbage ?
It’s saddening, yes.
Yes
My saying if i don’t use it i don’t need it
